If you have the BT router and want a flexible way to add more content on top of Freeview, this is a good upgrade. BT TV is a hard product to rate. What you get with BT TV is a more flexible option. It gets you an improved set-top box that offers the best of Freeview TV, plus on-demand and streaming apps, with the option to layer in NOW channels, with the choice to change subscription as you go. While NOW is no cheaper through BT than if you bought it yourself, here you get the option to record channels.
